Snoop Dogg has a new celebrity reality TV show this season (U.S.) called Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood. If memory serves correctly, The Osbournes were the first to start what seems to be a popular genre. While The Osbournes aren’t my favorites, the absurdity of that household was fun from time to time.
In Europe, The Pfaffs are a popular celebrity reality TV show starring Jean-Marie Pfaff and his family, ranging from grandfather to grandkids, all living under the same roof in a giant villa. While this is fun to watch, my personal favorite is Run’s House, featuring Reverend Run from Run DMC. He’s the perfect mix of fun and crazy.
While most of you know Snoop Dogg like an Old School/Original Gangster, his tough image crumbles on TV. At home, he’s a family man and his wife is the one who calls the shots, not that there is anything wrong with that, but it takes some time adjusting.
Another thing that surprised me was that Snoop seems to have the same dog situation going on as The Osbournes have. There are just too many of the, they don’t listen and they leave feces’ all over the place.
Overall, Snoop’s show is fun to watch and when it comes to stereo types; don’t mess with Snoop Dogg’s Fried Chicken.
